Overview

Zoom-In Chile ("the App") is developed by Depointless. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any data related to your use of the App.

Information We Collect

The App collects minimal data:

• Game progress: Stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences. It only leaves your device if you create a backup code (see below).
• Progress backup (optional): When you create a backup code, your game progress and the request's IP address are stored on our server with that code for 30 days, so you can restore it on another device. If you ask us to email you the code, your email address is used only to send that message through our email provider (Brevo) and is not stored by us.
• Notifications: If you allow notifications, the App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) to receive announcements of new locations. Firebase assigns your installation a registration token to deliver them, and the App subscribes it to the announcements for your language. We do not store this token or any other identifier on our servers. Notifications are on by default; you can turn them off at any time in the App (Settings or Profile) or in your device settings. On Android 13 and later, they are only shown if you allow them when asked.
• Leaderboard (app versions before 1.13.2 only): Older versions let you submit your initials (3 characters) and score to our server. The current version has no leaderboard.
• Advertising: The App uses Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Data Storage

Game progress is stored locally on your device. Backups and leaderboard entries are stored on our secure server. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties beyond what is described above.

Children's Privacy

The App is rated for Everyone. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
